Sneak Peek into the Biggest Sale of the Year: Jumia Black Friday Mega Deals

Jumia Black Friday will produce the most amazing deals ever seen anywhere in Nigeria. On November 28th, see history in the making as Jumia Black Friday Sales gets ready to shatter internet records in Nigeria. All I can say is get your laptops, PC’s, tablets and mobile all data ready in a sale that will have you talking for a while; Christmas couldn’t have had such a perfect start.

Now comes the interesting part, word out there is that on Black Friday Jumia will be selling the iPad Mini at N29,999, Samsung S5 at N41,500, PS4 + Fifa 15 CD at N60,000, the brand new Blackberry Passport at N64,500, Blackberry Z10 phones for N18,200, and the list goes on and on to various electronics, home appliances, fashion and beauty products.

With such amazing prices, guess all you want to know is how? Jumia Black Friday store opens and sales start at Midnight November 28, with star products going live starting at 8am up till 6pm same day, and every hour spectacular deals uploaded to the store. So what’s the secret to grab these amazing deals? Set your reminders, charge your internet devices, Oh! It will serve you well to have fast fingers too.

It gets even better, orders placed with Jumia on Black Friday makes you eligible for a chance to raid the Jumia warehouse with the invitation of a golden ticket. Anyone who receives a golden ticket with their delivery can bring a child of their choice to the Jumia warehouse on a selected date to pick as many items as they can in 60 seconds.

The deals can also be viewed on the Jumia Facebook page all day on the 28th of November so you can stay connected to everything as it happens, as the Jumia Facebook page will be the only source of information to Black Friday shoppers for when to expect all deals during the day. To get all the information you will need, simply like the Jumia Facebook page.

Jeremy Doutte, MD Jumia Nigeria, “It’s amazing the response we have seen since we started promoting Black Friday 2014, it’s as if everywhere I go there is someone who can’t wait till the clock strikes midnight on November 28th. Our Double Awoof vouchers are almost sold out, customer queries about sale is at a towering high, we are surely on the verge of history. We are glad to have pioneered this shopping trend in Nigeria, our customers have been amazing and we consider this one of the many ways to give back”

There is little or no reason to be anywhere else on the 28th of November.

The countdown begins are you ready?

Nigerians don't celebrate Thanksgiving. Americans celebrate Thanksgiving and Black Friday is a day after Thanksgiving in US.
Jumia study your business model very well before copying US Based companies.
Most Nigeria businesses lack creativity and originality. That's why you see them copying Black Friday, Halloween and other US holidays when they are not based in US. You are Nigeria based company so celebrate Nigeria based holidays.

Online stores in UK, Europe and Asia don't celebrate Black Friday because its a US tradition. So Why are Nigerians always copying US?

Good concept Jumia but please come up with a different name and different day for Nigeria. Maybe Nigeria Day or something more original instead of Black Friday which is a US tradition and not Nigeria.
