The mother and father were discovered by a cleaner who heard moaning coming from a private room on the maternity ward.
The
worker told hospital bosses what she had found but was informed there
are no rules against having sex on the ward at St Michael's Hospital, in
Bristol. (picture above)
The hospital's policy is for frisky couples to put a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, The Sun reported.
A hospital source said: 'Other patients on the unit heard the commotion and were upset. The cleaner was utterly shocked. She was amazed to be told it was OK. The hospital's advice appears to be just to put a sign up - amazing.'
Like herbal remedies and eating spicy food, sex is said to help induce labour in some cases.
However,
NHS advice says: 'You may have heard that certain things can trigger
labour, such as herbal supplements and having sex, but there is no
evidence that these work.
'Having
sex won't cause harm, but you should avoid having sex if your waters
have broken as there is an increased risk of infection.'

This one isn't a big deal. Women try to get orgasms to trigger labour all the time, it's a lot better than getting induced. Induction increases the risk of complications. Plus they for Don calculate, it'll be at least 6 weeks after birth before they can do the do again.

Linda, It is called induction of labor...one of the mean by which Doctors induce labor. On the other hand, having intercourse when you're overdue can speed things along because prostaglandins, hormone-like substances in semen, help soften and ripen your cervix to get it ready for delivery.Have seen it many time during labor, it not new.I'm a Doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.

Well there is nothing wrong with dat, apart from inducing labour, I remember after my marriage , I waited for about one year without getting pregnant, so my doctor adviced dat we should run some test including sperm count, d hospital was in Ikeja while we live in lekki, getting d sperm to Ikeja from lekki was a little bit difficult cos of d distance, d doctor allowed us to use one of d private room and it was fun, u know what I mean. In it all so far u are having it wit ur husband, u can have it anywhere excluding d house of God.
